20240420T1400 20240420T1830 America/Sao_Paulo WORKSHOP 'Transitions: new realities, new challenges, new tools for cooperation between France and Brazil' (in a separate venue)

Ecological, energy and digital transitions, as well as a renewal of juridical frameworks to protect the environment, are all part of the global issues that every society on Earth will have to tackle. Science and academic education of future citizens are crucial to face today's challenges.

From technical to organizational solutions, the French and Brazilian higher education systems are fully committed to these transitions. Their innovative courses, based on cutting-edge research, aim at providing keys to new generations, in order to shape a more sustainable world.

To achieve these goals, international cooperation and the mobility of both researchers and students must incorporate the topic of transitions, both as an object of study and as a dynamic to be mobilized in concrete action.

What concrete experiences can be proposed? What tools can be used? What new partnerships can be forged between French and Brazilian higher education institutions to face tomorrow's challenges together?

Objectives and expected benefits for Workshop participants:

This workshop will enable participants to share their observations, questions, pedagogical and scientific policies, and extensions to campus life, in relation to transitions (energy, environmental, societal). Useful information will be shared on strategies and institutional resources that can be mobilized to implement concrete international partnerships.
