The workshop will provide key information on how to engage and partner with U.S. Higher Education Institutions and use various tools (including tools used in two years of COVID19 pandemic) to further develop and enhance English language education, educational advising for Brazilians seeking for opportunities to study in the U.S. and practical knowledge on how to develop strong relationships with U.S. institutions through 100,000 Strong in the Americas competitions.

Additionally, representatives from the Fulbright Commission and the U.S. Department of State will be on hand to highlight how the U.S. Embassy and Consulates engage with Brazilian Higher Education Institutions and provide information and additional resources for Brazilian educators.

The audience will be able to learn creative and collaborative approaches to English language education, how to maximize outcomes from engaging with International Education Institutions such as FAUBAI, NAFSA, AIEA and will receive first-hand knowledge on best practices to create winning proposals for 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund competitions. 

Fulbright Commission representatives will be on hand to present the Fulbright Amazonia Initiative – a regional initiative that supports collaborative research to tackle challenges shared by countries that share the Amazon, and the Fulbright Interdisciplinary Network, a network of five Brazilian Federal Universities to foster collaboration and promotion of studies of the United States in Brazilian universities. The Commission will also provide information on awards available for Brazilian and U.S. citizens.
