With 321 million speakers in 102 countries on 5 continents, French is the world's third business language. In Brazil, the leading foreign employer is France, with 850 companies employing over 500 000 staff.

 

In addition to cultural enrichment, multilingualism is becoming an undeniable asset for successful studies and on the job market.Creating French-speaking talent is a key part of a university's internationalization strategy, promoting international mobility and employability.

This workshop will address the following topics :- Preparing for Francophone student mobility: the « Franmobe » course,- Internationalization strategy for universities and the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie: Francophone Employability Centers (UFRJ),- Economic Francophonie as a lever for increasing economic exchanges and developing sustainable and inclusive societies,- The French alternance and apprenticeship model.
