The Erasmus Plus Programme has contributed the last decade to create opportunities to improve the strategic cooperation and collaboration between European partners and LATAM countries. The main goal of this workshop is to prepare, with real examples, the target audiences to be aware about those opportunities and, how to apply and make a proposal in 2 different actions: International Credit Mobility (KA1) and Capacity Building for Higher Education (KA2).

The primary goals for this roundtable discussion are to elucidate the landscape of European funding opportunities under Erasmus+ programme available to higher education institutions outside Europe and empowering participants with a comprehensive understanding of these programs. We aim to equip attendees with practical strategies essential for crafting compelling grant proposals that align with EU criteria, fostering a higher likelihood of success in securing funding. The idea is to prepare the audience for this type of language, the buzzy words regularly used, the mechanisms to build consortia and other aspects considered relevant to determine and approach the best model for a well succeed proposal. Additionally, this session seeks to delve into the core aspects of institutional readiness, emphasizing the need for capacity building and collaborative efforts to bolster the preparedness of educational institutions for engaging with and leveraging European funding opportunities effectively. Ultimately, the roundtable endeavours to serve as an opportunity to start connecting institutions for future proposals.
